Hugh Masekela – Brecon Jazz 2010 – has died at 78
Considered the Father of Jazz in South Africa, charismatic trumpeter, flugelhornist, cornetist, composer and singer, Hugh Masekela has died at 78 in the early hours of 23rd January 2018. He was one of the “greats” to grace the Market Hall Stage at Brecon Jazz on 11 August 2010
